29, 2007, Islamabad: The
Human Health International (iHH), a Turkish-based humanitarian
organization, has pledged its support to the READ Foundation
in the rehabilitation of the schools damaged by the deadly
quake of October 2005.
This assurance was given by a three members delegation
from IHH that visited the READ Foundation's headquarter
office on May 29, 2007. The delegation was headed by Mr.
Bulent Yildrim - President of IHH., Mr. Huseyin Oruc -
Chairman Foreign Relations Department and Mr. Omer Faruk
- member of board were also present on the occasion.
The visiting delegates were briefed by the READ Foundation
about the ongoing educational activities, especially being
carried out by the Foundation in the earthquake region.
They were informed about the completed and ongoing projects
and the cooperation of Turkish organizations during this
period.
The delegation assured continued support to the foundation
in advancing the great humanitarian cause. |
