A delegation from Rotary Internation visited the READ Foundation
office in Islamabad. They met with the management and discussed
matters of schools donated by Rotary Club, and visit to
schools with the chairman READ Foundation would be arranged
in coming weeks. Then the inauguration schedule will be
finalized for Rotary school specially in Rawalakot.
The
Human Help International (iHH), a Turkish humanitarian
organization, has pledged its support to READ Foundation
for the rehabilitation of its schools damaged by the deadly
earthquake of October 8. The delegation was headed by
Mr. Blund Yaldrim - President of iHH, Mr.Huseyin Oruc
- Chairman Foreign Relations Department and Mr. Omer Faruk
- member of board.
Councilor
Muhammad Arif and Project Coordinator Simon Gordon from
Walsall UK visited READ for promoting their project called
“Smiles across Miles.”

UN delegation visited READ Coordination & Training
Center (CTC) Bagh. The delegates Included: the UN country
head Mr. Terry, Program Manager Bagh Mr. Albert, Program
Officer Education UNICEF Bagh Ms. Shahida Parveen and
the Assistant Program Officer UNICEF Bagh Mr. Imtiaz Alam.
The visit was aimed at evaluating the efforts of READ
in terms of its Capacity Building Endeavors.
